The Bosch RL Series water source heat pump features the quality technology you expect from Bosch — now smaller and easier to service than ever.

Serviceability

The RL Series is even easier to service than previous Bosch WSHP models. The unit’s swinging electrical box provides easy access to the compressor and other internal components. Vertical units also include better air coil serviceability and a slide out blower to make accessing internal components and servicing the blower a breeze.

Quiet Operation

All RL Series have a unique floating base compressor that is mounted on a heavy steel plate, which rests on a high-density rubber isolation pad on the case of the unit. In addition, compressors are mounted on rubber grommets. This double isolation, which is unique to Bosch, is standard on all RL Series units and helps prevent vibration and noise transmission from the compressor to the unit, resulting in exceptionally quiet operation.

Hanging Brackets

All horizontal units come standard with hanging bracket kits for suspending the unit from field-supplied hanger rods. These kits include heavy duty brackets and rubber grommets for sound and vibration isolation from the building structure.

Low Global Warming Potential

These highly efficient units not only reduce your operating cost, but also reduce carbon dioxide emissions, a leading cause of global warming. Equipped with R-454B refrigerant, the Bosch RL Series WSHP has a low global warming potential (low-GWP) of 466, meeting the criteria of the AIM Act.
